Queen Crowning at 10.30 on the Carnival Stage Our new carnival queen Chelsea Lane will recive her crown accompanied by her princesses Leoni Hunt and Lauren Campbell

999 Competition light hearted water based games between teams from Essex Police Marine Unit, Fire Brigade, RNLI and Ambulance Service
Billericay Dog Display Team talented canines showing what they can do
Shop Window Displays shops throughout the town dress their windows for this competition which will be judged throughout the day
Nick Robson Mountain Bike Show an exciting display of mountain bikes and other bikes including a penny farthing
The Oliver Southgate Band 5-6PM Singer-songwriter from Essex mixture of Rock, Country and Blues, whatever style he's playing it is all about the music
Punch and Judy all day near the clock tower
Street collections Carnival collecting box centre open from 11.00am at Curtis O'Boyle estate agents in the high street. These collecting boxes are our main source of funding . Get a box and collect all day or dress in fancy dress for the procession
Adult Fancy Dress Competition at 6PM by the carnival stage area. Classes ladies, Gents and Groups even if you are part of a float come along and show off your costumes. while you are here don't forget to pick up a collecting box
Carnival Stage or in the arena, be entertained by local schools with music and dance from 11.30
Carnival Draw takes place on the carnival stage 6.15PM the chance to win £250 and many other prizes. Tickets available at outlets throughout the town and at our kiosks on the day
BBC Eseex Road Show will entertain you as the procession lines up
Throughout the afternnon we will present the following in the main arena from 2PM childrens fancy dress by the clock tower just turn up! Cash prizes for best in class. Classes under 8 years 8-12 years over 12 years groups. Plus a new category - decorated moveable feature with wheels. Children in fancy dress can ride in the evenings procession on the carnival bus. All Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Meet at the clock tower at 7.15PM.

Featuring The Marx Men, Epping Forest Pipe Band, Hornchurch and Romford Drum Band, Various Majorette Troupes, Numerous Floats, visiting Queens and hundreds of people in fancy dress

ROAD CLOSURES. Pleas be aware that there are road closures in place on Carnival Day as follows: High Street from Chapel Rd to Belvedere Rd 10am to 10pm.
Station Road from Railway Bridge .Road will be closed from approx 6.30pm and reopened at approx 9pm except for emergency vehicles. Parking in the town is very limited and we would ask visitors to obey instructions given by our stewards and marshals and Essex Police. As The procession moves off the procession route will be controlled by a rolling road closure (see Carnival Map-route in blue) and traffic will not be allowed access to those roads until the police are happy that the road is clear.
Start in High Street, Station Road up the hill to Fiveways junction, right into Devonshire Road,Arcaia Road, Dunkirk Road, left into Orchard Road, Right into Silver Road and right into High Street and disperse.
Route approx 1mile. time approx one and ahalf hours.
ROAD CLOSURES will be in place throughout the town as follows
10.am to 10pm Highstreet close from junction with Chapel Road to Junction with Riverside Road with diversions in force via Chapel Road,Western Road,Orchard Road and Riverside Road.
From 5pm onwards until 10pm Orchard Road,Silver Road,High Street,Station Road,Devonshire Road, Arcadia Road and Riverside Road to facilitate the Carnival Procession.
Sation Road fromThe Railway bridge will be closed at approx 6.30pm or earlier if the police feel that there are no more parking spaces in the town.
We would advise visitors to enter the town no later than 5.30pm if they wish to park within the town, and be prepared to stay until after the Procession has finished at approx 9.30pm
